IN THE PURSUIT OF BALANCE

The Pursuit of Happiness

We go through Life... hoping, to figure it out... I once got advise, from the angel investor Gavin McCulley, that echos in my mind to this very day. He told me, "If you want to succeed in all things, then you must bring balance to all things." Those words changed my life. The reason is, up until that point I had never thought of "balance" as anything but something to help weight distribution so we don't fall over. As I delved into the concepts of "balance of all things", I looked at all things (at least as much as I could look at). What I noticed was that in everything I saw had a balance within it, otherwise its destruction was a certainty. Without balancing the wooden beams correctly when building a house, rushing the work, unfocused on the position; what would happen to that house?

This is just one of many examples leading to the conclusion that balance must harmonize what was to bring forth what will be. On the LARGEST scale, to the lowest scale, everything that exists is based on balance. There is always a push to the pull, a pull to the push. Observe it, if you pay attention to how a system moves you will start to understand the system. The 'Bitter-Sweet' combination of never too much, but not too little. Everything that has balance operates optimally, seamlessly flowing within natural law. This Knowledge brings forth the beautiful challenge of balancing ourselves to truly understand our self. If we are a product of what is natural, and balance is natural; it only makes sense that to unveil our most authentic self we must balance our current clouded self. This, is the Key towards achieving the maximum Self.

your Past

A person's mindset tends to get stuck on what they've experienced. Any sort of drama, or disruption of the constant mindset will cause a mind to store this data to avoid this disruption of equilibrium. Our adaptable mind makes it so we'd rather avoid the situation, avoiding the uncomfort. The problem with this is, in order to work through past traumas one has to push through uncomfortable situations internally. So people hold onto old perspectives from the past letting that guide their past driven persona. If you only focus on the feelings of the past, you can never truly focus on clear feelings of the present. Reconciling the past is simply a process of accepting and learning from the Past. Looking at the past from an outside perspective allows one to let go of the pain from the past. Analyzing what once hurt and realizing that forgiving the past is necessary to letting go will lead to the realization of thought guiding how we see life. Realizing the longer you hold on to the thought, the longer you let the thought effect your life. You choose your thoughts, you choose your point of view. You are the only one who can let go of what hurts from within. Don't let your pride force you to reject change. IF YOU ONLY ALLOW YOURSELF TO EXPERIENCE THE PAST, THEN YOU CAN NEVER ACTUALLY LIVE IN THE PRESENT.        

R E C O G N I Z E 

your Present

Now that we've gotten past the hardest part (Reconciling Past) we can actually experience our present state of life. Prior to reconciling the past, we were letting the past become our present state of mind. Now that we have come to terms, accepted, and learned from the past- it no longer has relevance to our present state of mind. We choose what we want to focus on. Its as simple as choosing and going with it. YOU HAVE TO GIVE UP THE IDEA THAT YOU ARE WEAK. You will realize in this clarified present, that you are the master of your reality. Pain is only present as an experience if you allow it to be. Assesing your present after clearing your mind allows you to appreciate the moment. BUT never forget that the past is ever-expanding, and you have to keep reconciling situations as they pass by to maintain an accurate present. If you continue to allow yourself to be taken by the past, you're allowing your self to be taken out of the present. To build our future, we HAVE TO know our present.

If a man tried building a house without looking down at the slab foundation, he would never succeed in seeing the vision of his home. It would tumble and crumble until he learned from his past mistakes in order to FINALLY focus on the 'Foundation'. 

R e a l i z e

your Future

Finally we can focus on forming our future. This is one of the most exciting part. This is because, once we learn to successfully balance all of these reality clarifications, you can see what you want your individual journey to be about. Now that you've reconciled and passed your past, you have unlocked the real present. The Present is your current experience, your perceived moment, and everything you have to build the next moment. At every moment, we come to find crossroads that determine every moment that comes after to us. This moment yet to come is known as the Future. We decide what possible future we decide to live in. In each moment there are endless crossroads with two extremes to the spectrum. Either walk towards your 'best self', or walk towards your 'worst self'. These are the extremes. By mastering honesty and transparency with your environment, you will live in CLARITY with your environment/moment. if you are clear about the past, and clear about the present, you will clearly see what lay in your future. Pushing for your greatest self, and your greatest moment will point you in the direction of your greatest purpose. The beautiful thing is, you hold your future in your hand. By GIVING to your moment, your moment will GIVE BACK to You. Align yourself with your greatest potential. The Action must balance the Intent to yield Results

The difference between a 'Lazy Dreamer' and an 'Active Innovator', is the Active Innovator puts ACTION into their INTENT. Giving them strength to Push their Dream into Reality.
